About the survey
The research documents 109 registrations; the organizer recalls at least 109 people attending, possibly more. There was no formal attendance tally. Survey results came from 38 voluntary, anonymous post-event respondents (34.9% of registrants). These were perceptions, not objective skill assessments.
The unpublished single-institution research draft reports 38 pre-event responses, 38 immediate post-event responses and nine at four-to-five-week follow-up. Surveys were unpaired; no comparison group was used. No statistically significant change in specialty career interest was demonstrated. The event and the research were separate. Institutional IRB exemption does not imply institutional endorsement of Suture Lab.
